First time in Europe - 7 Countries
Last year I went to Europe for the first time (besides having gone to Iceland the year prior). I had just left my warm Asia adventure for cooler spring weather in Europe. I had no plan when I arrived other than a one way ticket to Prague.
I spent nearly a month and a half exploring Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain and France. I enjoyed every country I went to. I spent weeks in some countries and only a few days in others. I took the most photos in Italy because every street, hill, building and colorful wall was eye candy. Lake Garda in Italy was a highlight of my trip. Prague was a great place to start as I found it easy to get around, beautiful buildings and VERY delicious food. The same goes for Budapest, Hungary which is highly un-derated and a must see when coming to Europe.
I was lucky enough I got to meet up with Max, my adventure partner I met in Vietnam and later fell in love with while traveling through many kilometers of European cobblestone streets, handfuls of train adventures and hoppy from hostel to hostel. The coolest hostel we stayed at was Bassetto Guesthouse located in a small city in Tuscany, formerly a monastery of Benedictine Monks dating back to the 14th century!).
I could write an entire book of every awesome adventure and all my favorite things in Europe, but I am less a writer and more a photo taker so here you go…
