Welcome to MY blog
We capture many weddings at The Manor House every year. It’s my favorite venue close to Denver. It doesn’t matter rain or shine or snow or often rainbows this place is so beautiful to capture Denver weddings at.
One of my favorite wedding venues is in Boulder, Colorado. The lovely Greystone Castle opened its doors to weddings a few years back. I was lucky enough to capture the owner’s daughter’s wedding there and the rest is history. I fell in love with the family and now have the honor of capturing more weddings here.
I met Morgan & Coco on their wedding day and instantly knew we were going to have a fun/joy filled/beautiful day at Spruce Mountain Ranch celebrating their love.
Arrowhead Golf Course is like no other venue near Denver, Colorado. It has people from all over the US making their way out here to get married with the red rocks as their backdrop. My team and I shoot here often and are forever excited to be surrounded by the beauty.
I officially met these two on their wedding day at Wild Basin Lodge. I knew within the first minute they were my people. They never stopped smiling and laughing and happy crying.
I have been a wedding photographer for 8 years and this was my first Indian wedding! I couldn’t believe it either, now I want all my weddings to be this colorful :)
Alex & Santi live in beautiful Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Over the winter I visited Mexico for two months and fell in love with this tropical spicy surf spot and also these two <3
I lived on the island of Madeira for two months in 2021. It’s an island in Portugal and I would consider it a little Hawaii and half the price. It is stunning, rainbows everyday, nearly perfect weather, charming locals and a community of expats that make you feel at home.
Stephanie & Austin’s Grand Hyatt Vail wedding was one for the books. My favorite part of their day was when they surprised their guests with a cocktail hour before their ceremony which they attended.
It is not very often I get to capture a larger wedding as a solo photographer and let me just say I really enjoyed it. I was so present during Kaley & Joe’s Oxford Hotel wedding, I even got the pleasure of capturing both of them getting ready which is rare when you have a second photographer.
Sindhur & Jesse’s Boulder proposal was perfection. I didn’t even have to hide in a bush to not look suspicious ;) Jesse also had his chef of a brother prepare snacks and a meal for these two, this family is incredible.
That one time I flew from Mexico to San Francisco on my birthday to capture this beautiful elopement and I had food poising (on a plane!).
My favorite venue to shoot at closest to Denver is The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado. I have been a preferred vendor here for many years and still get excited to shoot at this historic venue.
Over the summer in my new city of Regensburg, Germany I met Egesu, right away we clicked. She is as cute as she is witty and I told her the first time we met “let’s be friends, I like you”. Fast forward to this past November, she married her partner Johannes!
Being a newer part time resident of Germany hasn’t allowed me to capture as many sessions as I do living in Colorado. I arrived back in Germany mid-October and the leaves were on fire, so many shades of orange, red and yellow.
A little over two years ago I solo traveled to Iceland and on day one I met Lara on a beer tour around Reykjavik. We drank too much and shared our love of travel and life. Lara is someone you are lucky to know. After that evening we said goodbye, but thanks to Instagram we stayed in touch.
Sunrise Amphitheater in Boulder is one of my favorite wedding venues. I mean I guess it is really a ceremony site, but still it totally rocks! I have shot here on sunny days and full on winter wonderlands.
I spent nearly a month and a half exploring Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain and France. I enjoyed every country I went to. I spent weeks in some countries and only a few days in others.
I started traveling solo at the beginning of 2018, my first destination was Australia for a few weeks. After that trip, I found myself in the same year flying to Bali, Canada and Iceland. I became addicted to not knowing what was to be discovered after I stepped foot off the plane, but in the end it became more about the thrill of discovering more about myself.
I don’t often book three weddings in a row but after getting an inquiry from Blaire & Jack I knew I had to agree to capture their wedding at The Lodge at Breckenridge.
Joanna & Jimmy’s wedding at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail last September was unlike any wedding I have ever photographed! These two had their walk way for the ceremony placed over the pool. It was so magical and colorful <3
Kerri & Terry met me on top of the world at Rocky Mountain National Park for their engagement session. It was a perfect evening with these two. We had smiles + sunshine + wind + laughs + a heard of elk.
Meg & Brett’s summer wedding at Vail Wedding Deck this past June was not normal by any means. It was an adventure from beginning to end. We started the day with sunshine and an epic first look with their adorable pup and right before the ceremony a huge blizzard blew in and changed everything.
Mae & AJ’s Kimpton Hotel Born wedding in Denver this past July was one of the most colorful weddings I have had the honor of capturing. If you know anything about me I love color, I see life with vibrant eyes and I can’t help but show that through my work.
As much as I wish I could blog all my weddings and sessions I simply don’t have the time. I’m kept busy by capturing your lovely moments and creating my own memories. So instead, I decided to put together some of my favorite engagement photos from 2018 into a blog post :)
Alisha & Boris’s sunrise elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park was one of the most adventurous elopements to date. I hit the road at 3:00am to meet these two at a trail head in the park.
Sophia & Tom’s wedding at Taharaa Mountain Lodge last summer was such an amazing day! These two fell in love early on in high school, went through college and made it out the other side married.
In honor of my best friend Mandy getting married tomorrow I thought I would share my favorites from their downtown Phoenix engagement session. I grew up in Phoenix and became friends with Mandy right out of high school.
Lindsey & Tom got married at Timber Ridge in Keystone this past summer, one of my most favorite ceremony views in Colorado can be found there.
Capturing a wedding at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is special. This place is a museum of beautiful corridors, a library, artwork, stunning architecture and every backdrop you are in awe. The staff is incredible and it feels like home, but on a grand scale <3
