OREGON ROAD TRIP - WATERFALLS INCLUDED
Oregon, Oregon, Oregon...where to begin? This place is so green (especially compared to Arizona) I immediately fell in love. This road trip has reminded Daniel and I how beautiful North America is, I feel so lucky to be living here. We started our Oregon stay in Porter, OR. We camped along side the Rouge Gorge, it was so loud yet very calming to go to sleep to. We then drove to The Dalles, OR to meet up with Daniel's family whom I never met. It was an amazing time! We stayed in Oregon for a week and did lots of site seeing and adventures including: hiking to some amazing waterfalls along the Columbian Gorge (the gorge is a site to be seen, I can't believe I have lived all this time and never knew this huge water source existed). We also visited an awesome quiet lake called Lost Lake. We kayaked for the first time and will be doing it again soon, possibly a new hobby!
Our backyard to our campsite in Porter, OR.
Stella is always hunting for squirrels (or anything that is alive!).
We went to Crater Lake, only the bluest lake in the world! This lake is 1900 feet deep.
Driving to The Dalles, OR which is located right along the Columbian Gorge. The sun was so dreamy.
Our first time at Lost Lake and it was filled with smoke. There was a fire in Portland that caught up to us.
The Dalles, OR :)
Puff Falls on the boarder of Washington.
The tallest walking stick.
Carving his walking stick, minutes before his sliced his finger. OUCH.
Don't play with knives.
This is the Columbian Gorge my friends. It is so windy and paradise for wind surfers all over the world.
Back at Lost Lake, attempt number two was a success. No fire this time.
